Outreach preperation day 1

Today we started with more formal outreach prep.

07:00 - 07:45 - We had devo set (devotional prayer set for a specific topic). Emma (a girl in my outreach team from America) and I was incharge of praise and worship for the morning and another guy, JP, was incharge of prayer points. The songs we chose to sing was Nothing but the blood by Hillsong and Washed by UPPERROOM.

10:00 - Started lecture for the day

11:00 - I got all my vaccines that I needed, I did Yellowfever, meningitis and Typhoid just for safety😉.

13:00 - We had to drive to Klerksdorp (45 km away) to get our team's vaccines and had the chance to have a quick stop for coffee at the most beautiful Plato.

15:30 - Got back into town

16:00 - Our staff created a choir for our music track that will be performing on Tuesday 14 April 2026 so we had a short rehearsal today until 17:30

18:00 - Had dinner and Went into team time for our first Muslim evangelism training in preperation for outreach since this will be our main focus in Mombasa. We have a brilliant member in our team that was a missionary in Jordan (Middle East) that did Muslim ministry for her whole 12 years of living there. We had the opportunity to ask our questions and lift our concercerns for this specific ministry.

22:00 - Spent some time with creative crafting
