These past couple of days has been so humbling and rewarding at the same time. As a missionary you depend on generous givers for funding to get through each month. You have no set income, no set payment date, just Faith that Jesus is and will be providing. This is the boat i am in at the moment. I am Trusting Jesus to fund me month-to-month. My funds are a prayer point at this stage, so i need to steward what I have at the moment really well.
On Friday i wanted to go and get a coffee at the coffee shop close to us. Before I could do that a friend asked if I could take her back to our base to get a jacket and another friend was feeling ill so i also had to take him back. Our class started earlier than usual so I missed the opportunity to go and get a coffee. I was feeling a bit sad because i REALLY WANTED A COFFEEš. We get back to the classroom and as i am walking in my other friend comes up to me and gives me a coffee and her words are "This morning i felt that i need to buy someone a coffee and as i was walking past the coffee shop i felt to go in and i heard Carribean Mocha. I know it's your favourite so I knew you were the one that I needed to buy a coffee for." I was in complete shock because I only told the friend driving with me in the car that i wanted a coffee and no one else. Jesus answered my one small request for the day in a matter of minutes. He is such a GOOD friend.
Later into the day I took another friend to the Mall quickly and I ended up getting another coffee that Jesus provided (I didn't buy it) at my favourite coffee shop.
Once again life as a missionary is really having full on Crazy faith, but I LOVE EVERY minute of it. I had to take a group of our students to a farm about 67km away to see wildlife. I was stressed because funds are, as I said, a prayer point at the moment and my gastank was on 1/4 full. The students each paid me R200 ($12,26) because i was taking them and with that I could fill up my whole tank!!! WHEN JESUS GIVES VISION, HE WILL ALWAYS GIVE PROVISION!!!! He is such a faithful father. We were also blessed with a BEAUTIFUL sunset while on the road.
